Output Setup

Route the character feed to wherever you stream from. OBS is supported, not mandatory — every method below produces a self-contained window you can capture or push.

OBS optional
Mika Vale
Mika Vale
Output slug: mika-vale

OBS Browser Source

Add as a Browser Source in OBS / Streamlabs. Fixed-size, transparent-ready output.

Available
Browser source URL
https://app.maskroom.local/output/mika-vale?mode=obs
Local render helper
http://127.0.0.1:4789/maskroom/mika-vale

Point OBS at the browser source URL. The local helper bridges to your machine's render engine when the feed is generated on-device.

Platform Window Capture

Open a clean popout window and capture it from the platform's own studio app.

Available

Best for platforms that capture a window or screen region rather than a browser source. Open the popout, then select it inside:

Browser Popout

A standalone full-feed window — no OBS required. Share to a second screen or capture directly.

Mobile Preview / Control Link

Monitor the feed and drive tip goals from your phone while streaming from your desk.

Available
Mobile control URL
https://app.maskroom.local/m/mika-vale/control

Open on your phone to preview the live feed and control scenes, tip goals, and chat assist remotely.

On the roadmap

Virtual Camera

Expose the character feed as a system webcam for any video app — no capture step.

Future

Requires a native helper to register a virtual camera device (OBS Virtual Cam-style). Planned once the on-device render helper ships. For now, use OBS Browser Source and OBS's own virtual camera as a bridge.

Direct RTMP

Push the composed feed straight to a platform ingest URL — skip OBS entirely.

Future

Server-side compositing and RTMP push are gated behind higher render tiers and per-platform compliance review. Track progress in feature flags. Until then, capture a popout or browser source in your streaming app.
